A Little Phillies Fan

When I was posting the engagement pictures last week I realized I never blogged the cute pictures I took of my cousin Jack.    He got all decked out in Phillies garb for some Father’s Day pictures.  He is such a sweet little guy.  Looking forward to getting to take even more pictures of the little guy.

And since I really neglected my blog here are a few of Jack’s Newborn pictures from back in April.  Such a handsome little man.

Groomzilla

As photographers we have all had our share of Bridezillas well today I got to meet Groomzilla. Okay not really but that’s what we called him today because he clearly cares more about the details than his gorgeous fiancee.  It’s cute actually.  To be honest I had a great time with both of them, such a fun couple.

Check out her shoes!!  She was rocking the heels, Dave stayed nice and close though so there wasn’t any twisted ankles or worse!!

The first 2 times we planned to head out to do their pictures it rained,  Not just a few sprinkles but full blown storms!!  No sign of rain clouds today but it was  record breaking heat.  Luckily no one melted into a puddle or completely evaporated.  We even managed to get some cute pictures between all the laughing.  Nanette was cracking me up with all her expressions. She is seriously so gorgeous she can’t take a bad picture no matter what she is doing.  Dave isn’t too hard on the eyes either!!

Congrats Dave and Nanette. I know you will have the perfect wedding day!

This little duck was following us around, I didn’t trust the little feathered creature!!

Becky and Shawn are getting married

My dear friend Becky is getting Married on June 5th.  Sadly I can’t be there as I had planned which honestly breaks my heart.  If there was ever a wedding I was really looking forward to it was this one.  Becky is just such an amazing person and a great friend.  I am just a so thankful she is a part of my life and that we became friends when we did.  She will always be one of my closest friends no matter how far apart we live.   I had planned to do her pictures for her so when I found out I couldn’t be there I wanted to hire a photographer for her and I was lucky that my friend Jami from Life in Moments Photography was available and up for task.  Thanks again Jami you are the greatest!

I was able to get some engagement pictures for her back in February while I was in Utah for my sister’s wedding.  I am so excited for Becky and I just adore Shawn, what a great couple they are.  Oh and won’t they have the most adorable children!!

This is totally them.  Another reason they are perfect for each other, they both wear flip flops whenever possible, no matter how cold it is outside.

I love you Becky and could not be happier for you.  I hope your wedding day is as beautiful as you are and is everything you deserve.

Trying to remind myself all nature is not bad

I am dealing is a major case of poison ivy currently.  My poor left hand can barely close it is so swollen with blisters.  This all came from trying to clean up the yard to help sell our house faster.  Currently my feelings towards nature are not the greatest.   I did recently enter a photography contest at work though in which the subject matter was strictly the nature/landscape around the office.  While I did not find it overly exciting I got a few pictures I liked enough to enter.

Naturally it started raining while I was taking the pictures and I was chased by the largest groundhog I have ever seen which took a few rocks being thrown at it. (yes I see the irony is throwing rocks at the wild life while taking pictures of nature, but never fear I have terrible aim and missed it.)

The textures used on a few are of these are from Kaleidoscope textures I won a contest for $100 gift certificate from MCP actions to Kaleidoscope.  I was so excited to order them and try them out.

This one goes out to Breezi

My friend Breezi is due with twin boys and could have them at any moment so I wanted to send her a shout out since she recently got the feed to my blog working.  Hope all goes well Breezi!

I know I have not blogged in far too long and I have lots of catching up to do which I hope to start working on soon.  I  blame the “Igloo” This is what I have nicknamed the new house we are buying next month.  Apparently the previous owners were afraid of color.  The outside is white, the wall are white, the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are white and except the kitchen all the counter are white.  Hence the Igloo.  The whole moving thing is causing lots of stress and making it so I honestly don’t feel like blogging these days.  We still have to sell our house but hopefully that will happen soon.

Stay tuned for some catch up blogging which will include my sister’s wedding, some engagement pictures, 2 newborn sessions, and some senior pictures!!

And since this post is useless without pictures here is a picture of  our house without the mountains of snow we had this winter.  I am really going to miss this house, still sad about leaving it.
